WEEK #5 North Tonawanda vs. Williamsville North

It was Friday night in North Tonawanda and the Jacks were looking to go to 3-0 in the division. They were facing the Williamsville North Spartans. In what could be called the best Jacks performance of the season, NT dominated in all 3 phases of the game. The offense rolled up 318 yards rushing, with FB Jeff Zellner leading the charge with over 100 yards rushing. WR Aaron Davis added 2 scores for the Jacks with a TD catch right before the end of the half and a 95 kick return to start the second half. The Lumberjack defense put a stronghold on the Spartans all night allowing 66 yards rushing. It was the first shutout of the season for the improving defensive unit. In a highly anticipated matchup, the Jacks will travel to Kenmore West on Saturday for sole possession of 1st place in the division. The Blue Devils have selected the Jacks as their homecoming guests. Kickoff will be at 2 p.m.
